Besting pricier competitors, the NutriBullet Pro 900 series dazzles with a sleek silvery-bronze or champagne base, clear vessels, and a compact look. At first glance, you might think that NutriBullet Pro 900 looks like any regular NutriBullet. However, what sets this magic bullet apart is that it comes with a bigger BPA-free 32-oz cup, two 24-oz cups and a smaller 18-oz cup.

Speaking of cups, you will be glad to know that NutriBullet Pro 900 series is made with Tritan material. This means that the cups are both durable and dishwasher friendly. Further, the NutriBullet 900 also comes with two blade steel-layered attachments and various lids. Subsequently making road trip smoothies extremely accessible. The powerful combination of its improved extractor blade and redesigned lids will ensure that spillage will be avoided.

In addition, the NutriBullet features a simple and intuitive design which makes it the perfect companion for everyday use. It works as advertised with its three-step approach- push, twist, and blend away.

When it comes to rinsing, the NutriBullet 900W series really does “clean like a dream.” As this model is geared for those with active lifestyles, you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to clean. With just a few simple twists of the blades, the time saved cleaning is actually incredible.

Sitting at 5.5-inches in diameter and 15-inches tall, the NutriBullet Pro 900 is compact enough to fit easily on any countertop. This also makes it a stellar choice for those who are looking for a convenient and travel-friendly blender.

Blend Quality.

Avid smoothie makers will certainly be surprised by the blending quality of NutriBullet Pro 900. Despite its size, the 900-watt motor cuts through fruits and food with ease. In addition to pulverizing seeds and stems, the NutriBullet 900 series also features a clever extraction process. The nutrient extraction process ensures that each blend removes odd-looking lumps or chunks from the fibrous ingredients. Therefore, not only can the NutriBullet blender turn most ingredients into a healthy drink, but it can also be used to create purees or even food dressings.

Aside from that, the NutriBullet Pro 900 is also a master at ploughing through ice blocks. This makes life much easier for you when following the “Life-Changing Recipes” that come with every unit purchase. However, like fire and ice, you should avoid adding hot liquids into the blender. This can build additional pressure and result with the blender exploding. Since the NutriBullet 900 packs a lot of power into such a small frame, there is a big possibility for heat build-up. To ensure safety, it is advised not to run the blender for more than a minute at a time.

Now that we know the NutriBullet 900W series is an effective personal blender, let’s take it up a notch and explore the decibel levels. The NutriBullet Pro 900, as compared to other single-serve blenders, is pretty loud. However, since you cannot run a cycle for more than a minute, it is important to note that it is not that disruptive. One tip that we can give though is to add a rubber mat on its base to help reduce the noise slightly. Honestly, when we say it’s loud we really do mean that!

NutriBullet 900W Features.

Starting with the control settings, the NutriBullet 900 blender does not include a dedicated control panel. To keep the blender looking sleek, simple, and easy to use, it also does not offer any buttons for speed choices. Now, this might sound like the NutriBullet 900 is pretty useless. However, the default settings work with a slower speed to grab ingredients at first pass. In fact, as beginner smoothie makers ourselves, we were actually quite glad there were fewer options and settings available.

For its dedicated blades, the NutriBullet 900 series blends frozen ingredients, soft produce, and tough fruits and veggies with ease. In fact, the NutriBullet 900 also outperformed other leading brands and full-sized machines when grinding nuts such as almonds, cashew, walnuts, and pecans. As such, we would consider the NutriBullet 900 an all-in-one kitchen device.

Recommendation: As a recommendation for blending, shake the cup manually to get rid of air pockets and push it down briefly for a pulse effect. Doing that will enable the blender to create a vortex and blend the chunks of ingredients evenly and smoothly.

Finally, its copper-toned blender base also has an internal breaker which automatically shuts down the NutriBullet Pro if it senses a possible overheat. As mentioned above, this type of blender tends to acquire heat build up pretty quickly since it is not supposed to be used for a long cycle.

Blender Durability.

Compared to other single-serve blenders, the NutriBullet 900, in our opinion, is the best choice for those who are just starting their journey. Budget-wise, it is friendly on the pocket and is durable enough to withstand regular blending.

Of course, it may not be as durable as a full-sized blender. However, you can most definitely count on it in performing simple jobs. From pureeing, chopping, grinding, crushing, and blending, the NutriBullet 900 made for a great kitchen companion. Furthermore, the NutriBullet also has the ability to blend continuously to produce creamy and smooth liquids without awkward chunks and lumps. Unlike other brands such as Nutri Ninja, you do not have to hold it down as you run a full blending cycle making it a match for those with active lifestyles.

Good Value?

Living up to previous models, the NutriBullet 900W is great value for money. As a solid and powerful choice for those who are in the market for a good in-between gadget for personal blenders, we really enjoyed this product.

If there are two things that we found the most valuable about the NutriBullet 900, one of them would be how to operate the machine. It is just so easy to use without the need to go over the manual. In fact, let’s break down how simple the NutriBullet 900 is to use right here:

  1. Fill the desired cup with ingredients
  2. Screw on the blade and twist it into the machine’s base
  3. Push down, and prepare to blend.

Seriously, even our kids could use this device.

We also liked that it is easy to assemble and disassemble because it comes with only a few parts. What’s even better is that once you are done blending, all you have to do is to detach the blade from the container and wash with soap and water.

So, if you are asking whether the NutriBullet 900 is excellent value for money, then the answer is yes! For $89, this is a reliable and cheap device to have as you start your juicing diary. Currently, you can purchase the NutriBullet 900W online through Amazon, Target Australia, Bullet Brands, and Harvey Norman.

Listed below are some of the things that we experienced with the NutriBullet Pro 900 which could be improved in the upcoming models:

  • Noise reduction: As we have stated above, this gadget is quite loud, which a lot of blending customers surely hate especially if you are going to use it early in the morning.
  • There is still some chance of leakage: Based on our experience, there is a possibility of leakage in the power base of this unit if the blade is not tightly screwed before blending. As such, keep well away from electrical outlets. The risk is only small, but the risk exists nonetheless.
  • The blade can break off: Although we have had no experience of this during our own use, there are a handful of the customers online that have noted small parts of the blade breaking off when blending.

NutriBullet 900 Review Verdict.

If you are looking for an effective and simple blender that can finish the job in an instant, you have to consider the NutriBullet 900 series We recommend this for people with active lifestyles as this is the perfect gadget for your juicing routine before heading to work or the gym. It is also a huge plus since the unit is extremely easy to clean and it comes with clear cups that can help you make both large and small smoothies every day.

There is no perfect blender, but if you can put up with the loud noise of the motor and the chance of leakage, this is the best $89 purchase.
